Nashville book lovers’ favorite time of year is almost here! Southern Festival of Books, now in its 28th year, will be here soon, and WNBA Nashville is right in the thick of things as always. Our Coffee with Authors event is destined to once again be a highlight.
Coffee with Authors will take place on Saturday morning, October 15, 9:30 a.m. at the Downtown Public Library, in the Auditorium.
Tickets are free, but we do ask you to pre-reserve your spot. Please e-mail your request for tickets to Lee Fairbend (you can reserve for two people).
Library doors open at 9 and we will be serving coffee and rolls.
And here’s the BIG news – our authors! Mary Laura Philpott from Parnassus will again serve as moderator.
Curtis Sittenfeld, Eligible
Adam Haslett, Imagine Me Gone
Yaa Gyasi, Homegoing
Danielle Dutton, Margaret the First
We will need your help. On Friday we will be stuffing the goodie bags, and picking up of authors at the airport. On Saturday we will need help with tickets, ushering, handing out goodie bags, serving coffee and sweet rolls, clean up and author hosting. I would love for someone to take pictures.
If you can help in any way, please email me.
And be sure to check out the National Reading Group Month website for information on other WNBA – NRGM chapter events in 2016.
Thanks, Mary Mac
