Monthly Meeting, Thursday, September 8

SFB_2016Please join us Thursday, September 8 at Jonathan’s Grille in Green Hills for our annual presentation of authors to check out at the Southern Festival of Books. Gail Vinett, the immediate past president of the WNBA Nashville chapter, will discuss programs and authors you won’t want to miss. The program starts at 6:00 and is free and open to the public. Arrive early to network with members and guests, starting at 5:00. Meals and beverages are available for purchase if desired.

Monthly Meetings Resume in September

Great Group Reads LogoPlease note there will be no monthly meetings from June through August. Our meetings will resume the first Thursday in September. We look forward to seeing you then! WNBA National Board Meeting 2016 Recap

2016 Board MeetingThe new president for the New York City chapter, Hannah Bennett, wrote about her experiences attending her first WNBA national board meeting. The meeting, held in San Francisco this year, was hosted by the WNBA-San Francisco chapter who did a wonderful job arranging interesting meeting locations in different parts of the city and scouting out some great restaurants for meals.
